Sunday wishlist #52 - Primark edition!

Hello my loves and happy Sunday! I recently discovered that Primark now have a website showing their stock and I now want to go on a huge spending spree, the site is lethal! I think I'll definitely be picking up a few pieces when I'm in Sheffield at the end of the month!

All items from Primark!

As the warm weather is fast approaching I am in dire need of some summery clothes for work, the only downside, they need to be plain black! Which isn't much of a problem for me who wears it almost everyday but I love a pop of colour every once in a while. I think the pieces I've selected could be some great work staples and I am slowly falling in love with the bag too.... I NEED IT IN MY LIFE NOW!

Have an excellent Sunday guys!

Warner Brothers studio tour part 5 ϟ Diagon Alley and The Model.

Hello lovelies! We are now coming to the end of my Harry Potter Studio tour series (*cry*). I've really enjoyed doing this series and I hope you have too!

Next up is my favourite place, Diagon Alley! Diagon Alley is one my favourites from the movies, I've loved it since the first movie and the fact that it was inspired by the Shambles in my new hometown is amazing!

FUN FACT: Ollivanders included almost 2,000 different hand carved and painted wand boxes!

Overall the experience was great! Definitely worth the money, one little niggle I had was the only way out was through the shop, making me buy Fleur Delacour's pretty wand and a chocolate frog.... hehe. I would love to go back again, just incase we missed anything! I'd love to go back when they have some of the animal actors there.

Would you ever visit the Warner Brother studios?

Warner Brothers studio tour part 4 ϟ Creature Effects.

Hello my loves! The next part of the tour was definitely the most intriguing part, it was part guided by video's including Warrick Davis speaking about many facts, including that Hagrid was for most of the movies was actually a stunt double wearing stilts and a mechanical head!

As you can see from above they have some amazing things on display! The Grawpe model was huge, I did find quite a few things very strange though - they had quite a few characters in glass boxes like the little Dobby.

Next in this little series will be..... Diagon Alley and The Model!

Warner Brothers studio tour part 3 ϟ The Backlot.

Hello lovelies! The next part of the tour you'll be seeing is the backlot! This area was huge and quite cold as it was outside but it has some major features, which you can see below!

The backlot included one of my favourites - The Knight bus! I also loved seeing Tom Riddle's grave, it was much, much bigger than I expected it to be.

Finally we got to try a Harry Potter favourite for many, Butterbeer! To be honest, I really didn't like it, the top was okay (to me, it tasted like caramel) but the bottom - ew, I have no idea how to even describe it.

Next up in this little series will be..... Creature effects!

Warner Brothers studio tour - part 2 ϟ The Big Room.

Hello my loves! The second part of the tour was a huge room, filled with some amazing things! I didn't realise how many things would actually be there, there were so many little details that I never even noticed in the movies.

More pictures from the big room can be seen on my Flickr HERE!

I adored seeing the Burrow, the Weasley's are my ultimate favourite - especially The Twins! Its crazy how much detail goes into each set, like the box of Cherri Owls in the background of the burrow.

The big room also included a little green screen area where you can be transformed into the flying car or you can fly on a broom!

Next up in this little series will be..... The Backlot!

Warner Brothers studio's tour - part 1 ϟ The Great Hall.

Hello lovelies! On Sunday I was lucky enough to visit the Warner Brother studios in Watford as a birthday treat from my lovely boyfriend. Since the first Harry Potter movie came out in 2001, I have been in love - I had seen all the movies in the cinema and I now have a Harry Potter tattoo on my back (see here)..... I'm currently reading the book as I wasn't much a reader at a young age, to be honest I'm not now BUT what sort of a HP fan would I be without reading the books?!

So, lets start at the beginning! We arrived at the studio's at around 2pm, our slot wasn't until 4:30 but we were lucky enough to be allowed in at early, the tour started in a small room then lead onto the cinema which told you the story of how the books were discovered and created, then we were lead into the great hall! The great hall is the only section that is properly guided, the tour guide told us lots of facts.

By this point, I had lots of tears in my eyes and I couldn't believe where I was standing, it was just as magical as I imagined.

FUN FACT: The great hall was the only set that had a proper floor because they needed something that would stand for 10 years, it was made from durable York flagstone.

Next up in this little series will be...... The Big Room!
